Land Down Undead 21 日 09 月 2012 年
Land Down Undead is a zombie comedy novella that will guide you through Australia's zombie tourism industry. It is out now as paperback and eBook via Amazon.

BLURB

"Australia is a vast open country, blackened and decaying, and now more dangerous than it ever was. The population barely survived the first wave of the plague, then the rest of the world dumped their undead in Darwin. Soon after the entire country was crawling with flesh eating foreigners. Australia's citizens fled to New Zealand and Australia was left behind as the Land Down Undead.

Over the years the military have created a few safe zones and begun rebuilding the nation. The burgeoning zombie tourism industry is creating jobs to attract people to return home. Young backpackers want to see the undead up-close for themselves. It is the world's most sought out adventure holiday tour: from the beaches to the outback, drinking beer, getting laid and killing zombies. Whether you want to join a guided tour or go-it-alone, this backpacker's guidebook will show you everything the Land Down Undead has to offer."

I wrote this short flash piece for one of the many extremely transient flash fiction podcasts. It was only 100 words, but by the time I was finished the podcast had shut down.

So I rewrote it and submitted it somewhere else. I waited, and waited, and made inquiries and no reply came. That magazine had shut down as well.

So I guess this piece is cursed. I hope your browser doesn't crash when you read it.

It depicts gladiatorial games on an alien world in about 300 words, they should put me in the Guinness book of records.

The Darkness 24 日 02 月 2010 年
I wrote this short flash piece for one of the many extremely transient flash fiction podcasts. It was originally only about 100 words, but by the time I was finished the podcast had shut down.

So now it sits idly waiting for me to stop tinkering with it and decide what to do. Poor little pile of words, lost in the darkness.

The third column I wrote for My2Bob. This one delves into the relationship between music producers, consumers and DJs.
